The Wallet program is growing stronger. In 2023, we saw top users like our #1 referrer bring in over 350 new customers! For 2024, we're aiming even higher with fresh perks and rewards for referrals and smart energy upgrades.

2. A Bigger, Better Bonus Structure‍

• In the past, referrals earned 35 € per friend. That changed to 50 € and later to 70 €, before hitting an incredible 100 €.
• Now, the bar is higher. With the Ostrom Connect Bonus, you can double up on your rewards!

3. The All-New Connect Bonus

Love referrals? Love smart devices? Then this update is for you. If you connect a smart device — think Smart Meters, smart EV chargers, smart HVAC systems, solar panels, or battery storage — you can earn an extra credit. We want to reward users for upgrading from fossil-fueled systems (like combustion engines or gas heating) to smarter, greener technology.

4. Streamlined Wallet Payouts via Loyalty Bonus

1. Starting in 2025, new customers will receive their Wallet payouts after 11 months, when they collect their first yearly invoice. The good news? 98% of our users won’t feel any difference since most already collect their payouts annually.

How the Connect Bonus and Loyalty Bonus Works

Here’s an example:

• January 2025: You sign up for Ostrom using your friend’s referral code (Loyalty Bonus) and your contract gets confirmed right away.
• January 2025: Your friend gets referral credit for their successful referral.
• January 2025 to December 2025: During this period, if you connect a smart device, like a Smart Meter or other smart devices, you will unlock an additional referral credit (Connect Bonus).
• December 2025: At the end of your 11-month period, you’ll receive 2 referral credits: one for your friend’s referral code (Loyalty Bonus) and one for connecting a smart device (Connect Bonus).

What’s Staying the Same?

• Instant Referral Payouts: When you refer someone, you still get the payout right away.
• Use It Your Way: Your bonus can be used as a credit on your final bill or spent in the Ostrom Store on smart home products and energy-efficient devices.
